PRINTED MATTER: Auteur cinema on game consoles: Mubi.com [Duellanti July/August 2010]
The July/August 2010 issue of Duellanti magazine features my article on MUBI.com, an outstanding resource for film buffs that will soon make its debut on the PlayStation3. Formerly known as theauteurs.com, this site integrates streaming video and social network features for movie aficionados. The selection is fantastic: MUBI.com has partnered with Criterion Collection to offer the very best of international cinema and film criticism. Headquartered in Palo Alto, California, MUBI.com is another start-up that is changing the way we watch movies and talk about them. My story is part of my ongoing exploration of the convergence between video games and home video/home entertainment.
