The September 2009 issue of Rolling Stone magazine (Muse on the cover) features my stories on Ghostbusters, Scribblenauts (one of the most interesting titles of 2009, a puzzle game embued with emergent gameplay strategies developed by Jeremiah Slacksza for the Nintendo DS) and The Orphan. The latter tells the story of E. (Leena) an adopted charming Russian child who appears to be a wonderful, charming, and sincere human being. However, she has a hidden agenda. Behind her angelic looks, lies a devilish monster. The only one who understands the true nature of the young lady is the adopting American mother. Obviously, nobody believe her. The sons and husband will pay the price for being so naive... The Orphan is a lovely mash-up of B-movies from the past - Joshua, The Bad Seed, The Omen, The Good Son, Audition, and Fatal Attraction come to mind.
Any references to real life events are purely coincidental.
