EVENT: From Metaverse U 2.0: Music Performances in Virtual Worlds

One of the most interesting talks at Metaverse U 2.0 was Robert Hamilton and Juan-Pablo Caceres' "Music in the Metaverse: Networked Musical Performance with Virtual Environments" which centered on the intersection between network performance and virtual worlds. 

During the talk, Robert and Juan-Pablo described the plans for a  forthcoming concert between Milan and Stanford using the new Sirikata platform. The concert will be part of the MiTo festival and will take place in September. Addititional information is available here.
